Meet Lisa

Lisa Janloo is a proud American-Iranian whose story reflects the strength and promise of the American dream. Lisa’s father immigrated to the U.S. after the Iranian Revolution, chasing the promise of a better life — a land he came to love dearly and regard with deep respect and heartfelt devotion. Lisa grew up alongside her father helping to run their family-owned business, where she learned the values of hard work, service, and perseverance. Inspired by his example, Lisa has dedicated her life to serving her community.

Lisa hit the ground running, turning setbacks into stepping stones. From running for city council in Spencer, Oklahoma, to campaigning for State Representative, she has never wavered in her commitment to amplify voices of those often overlooked.

Her leadership speaks for itself:

  • Vice President, Spencer Chamber of Commerce, bringing new businesses and revitalizing Spencer’s downtown area

  • Chair, Spencer Parks Board, strengthening community spaces

  • Founder, Homeschool Program, during COVID-19

  • Board President, STAAR Foundation, supporting second chances

  • Workforce Development Advocate, helping formerly incarcerated individuals gain new skills

  • State Director, L.U.C.A Foundation (Latinos United for Conservative Action), bringing conservative communities into political spaces

Lisa’s focus is - and always has been - people. As she runs for Oklahoma Labor Commissioner, her mission is to bring innovation, equity, and opportunity to the state’s workforce. With your vote in 2026, she’s ready to do the work.
